Is your student looking for a new way of learning? Maybe your student is just not thriving in a traditional school setting, feeling lost in the crowd or unable to keep up.

Welcome to New Community Academy! Let us help your student discover a new love of learning this school year. We are a private Christian high school in the city of Pomona, California where 9th-12th grade students receive individualized instruction in a small classroom environment. With a student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 8 students per teacher, NCA is an intentionally small and supportive Christian environment where your student can thrive.

Why New Community Academy?

With fully accredited classes and California-credentialed teachers, NCA holds high academic standards for all students. Students pursue academic and vocational classes, along with internship opportunities, that are nested in the academic basics of applied math, language arts, science, foundational career skills (including: teamwork, observation, and listening skills), and social studies relevant to each student’s vocational interests.

How We Work with Your Family

At New Community Academy, family support is essential to student success. Parents are involved and engaged throughout the student’s time at our school, from planning out your student’s education path to celebrating his or her achievements together with events such as our Individual Learning Project presentation. Our staff and faculty provide tools for parents to work with their child throughout the year so you are never left out of the loop. And with sliding, need-based tuition, we are pleased to provide financial support to families.
